Indeed, very releavant comments - in many cases even when Gartner folks aren't themselves confused about it, some of their "customers" clearly are... As a result, they end up buying a pig of an "enterprise" (often, in name only :-() software that will cost them piles of both money and headache, instead of going with a much more nimbler appliance vendor (but I digress...)
